Mini photobook - Rina in Paris 2004-08-07
This is a “pocket book” sized photobook that measures 12 x 16.5 cm (about 4.7 x 6.5 inches). The book contains about 50 pages of full colour pictures of Rina Uchiyama. It also includes a few pages at the end describing the photoshoot and Rina’s other work (don’t take my word for this though, as my Japanese is quite bad ^_^;;). The quality of the print is not the best, but it’s definitly good enough.
This book is called “White Memories” (shiro no kioku) and was shot in Paris. It contains many lovely photographs of Rina out and about in the city. Rina has a very nice outfit in this book where she’s wearing a leather jacket and a brown skirt. Other photos include closeups of Rina’s hands and feet, Rina brushing her teeth, several photos of Rina having coffee (or maybe it’s hot chocolate) in a café (I love café pictures - don’t ask me why) and photos of Rinas accessories where she has written notes about each accessory.
Since the books is so small and has relatively few pages, it leaves you wanting more. Luckily there are two more books in the same series (all books are also available as a set, see below)! The small size is both bad and good. You get much smaller pictures (of course), but a book this small is very convenient to carry with you in your bag so that you may look at your favourite Rina photos whenever you want.
This book is also part of a set (ISBN: 4048534580) where you get all three “Memory” books (orange, white and blue) and a bonus postcard.
